Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0
The response fails to address the core instructions of the task. You were asked to write a letter to the organizer to offer to make a dish, describe it, and explain why it should be included. Instead, your letter reads like a set of instructions or a template for others to follow (e.g., 'give a specific details of a chosen food'). You did not actually offer to make a dish from your own country, nor did you describe one. Consequently, the task is not fulfilled as you have provided general advice rather than the personal response required by the prompt.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The letter is organized into paragraphs, which is a positive feature. However, the logical progression is weak because the content does not follow the expected structure of a personal letter. The use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or misused, such as 'For this circumstances' and 'In the end, would be like to illustrate'. These transitions do not effectively link the ideas, making the overall flow of the letter confusing for the reader. The purpose of each paragraph is unclear due to the lack of a personal narrative.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and contains several errors in word choice and collocation. Phrases like 'has perusing an event' (should be 'is pursuing' or 'is organizing') and 'For this circumstances' (should be 'In these circumstances') indicate a lack of control over standard English expressions. While you attempt to use some formal vocabulary, the misuse of these terms often obscures the intended meaning. To improve, focus on using common words accurately before attempting more complex or academic terminology.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text that impede clarity. Examples include 'the theme of an event consider specific food items' (subject-verb agreement error), 'I would suggest to prepare' (incorrect verb pattern), and 'Aware to connect the other people' (fragmented sentence structure). You rely on simple sentence structures, and your attempts at more complex sentences are often grammatically incorrect. Punctuation is generally acceptable, but the overall lack of grammatical control makes the letter difficult to follow.
