You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Luis,

I am writing to offer to make a popular Indian dish for the international food event. I would be happy to prepare samosas, which are one of the most popular snacks in India.

Samosas are crispy, triangle-shaped pastries filled with potatoes, pears, onions, and different spices. They are deep fried until golden and are usually served with mint chutney. They are tasty filling and can be enjoyed as a snacks or appetizer.

I think samosas should be included in the event because they are well known Indian dish and are enjoyed by people in many countries. They would also give students a chance to try traditional Indian Flavours and learn more about Indian culture through food.

I would be happy to prepare samosas and share them with everyone. I hope you will consider my suggestion.
