You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

Dear Luis,

I hope this letter find you well. i am writing to express my interest in introducing one of the popular delicacies from my country, it is a meal that is not only eye catching and but also very sweet.

The food i want to introduce is one of our popular meal called Ukpo Nkirishi, this one special meal that is usually prepared when celebrating child birth particularly a male child. the food is made up of dry Okro and mixture grinded melon that is rolled into a ball, it will will be boiled for about 4 hours on high heat, other ingredients are then added like Maggi, salt and well spiced meat usually with dry fish.

This meal should be included because of its unique taste and also an avenue to showcase our cultural heritage to the world at large.

i will be happy if my interest to include such as nutritious food into list of meals served is given appropriate consideration.
