You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

Dear Luis,

I hope you are doing well. I am happy to hear that the club is organizing an event to celebrate famous food all around the world. I am writing this letter to request you to add a popular dish of India which is Rasmalai.

I would like to mention that it is a sweet dish which is very popular in northern India. It has been made with milk and cream having some dry fruits in it such as cashews, almonds and raisins.

Moreover, I would like to describe that 70% population of the university is Indian, which is particularly beneficial for students to get them touch with their roots. Also it is chance for other students to know the taste of this food.

It would be appreciated if you consider my request. I am looking forward to hear from you soon.
