You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

Dear Luis,

I am writing this letter to you in response to suggest the popular food from country for the upcoming food festival.

Actually, I would love to present a popular food item from my country. So, I am from India and Indian cuisine has a lot of verity for both veg and non-veg food but I would like to go with a chicken dish. The dish I am thinking about is called 'Chicken Biryani'. I would be extremely happy if given a chance to add this to the event.

Chicken biryani is basically a spicy and flavorful chicken gravy cooked with Basmati rice. The ingredients needed are a mix of cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, curry leaves, some basic spices, chicken and rice. A good of efforts and skill is must to prepare it. Moreover, it has a very tempting and unforgettable taste.

I chose this dish because most of the club members and students are non-vegetarian. Thus, it will be the perfect Indian dish to introduce them with. As it is well-known around the world for its smell and taste, the event will be a great chance for the members to try and enjoy this recipe.
