IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Luis,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing this letter to offer the dish which I would really like to contribute into club event, as it is one of the most liked by people of my country.

The dish name is Butter chicken masala, which includes delicious chicken marinated in marinara sauces. Additionally, the curry has some spices in it, the taste overall is a mix of a bit sweet and sour. I hope it will be liked by everyone in the event.

The main reason to include in the event is that in the menu, it is one of the different dish from Southeast Asia. Moreover, the taste wise it can be eaten by those who are not able to tolerate much spice level.

I am hoping that the dish will enhance the overall quality of taste and looking forward for the prompt response.
