You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

Dear Luis,

I am writing this letter to express my interest in participating in the event to represent the food of my home country India.

I would like to bring a very authentic taste of India known as ''Dhokla''. It is a special Gujarati dish belongs to my culture. The dish itself reflects the nature of my origin as it tastes sweet and sour. It is basically made from a gram flour considering a good breakfast enriched in protein. The dish typically comes with the chutney the other component of the food in which we dip the Dhokla and eat to make it taste more special.

I am adding this dish to the event will bring a special attraction from the population who like to taste the multicultural dishes and want to know more about the food and the recipes.

I hope you like my insight to get involve in the event.
