You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

Dear Luis,

I am writing to offer my assistance with the upcoming event organized by the International Student's club. I would be delighted to prepare one of the famous Indian dishes known as butter chicken.

Butter chicken is a well known traditional north Indian dish, which is made from tender chicken breasts cooked in a sweet and sour tomato sauce with creamy texture. It is usually a blend of popular Indian herbs and spices with a pleasant aroma. It is commonly served with white rice or garlic naans.

As of my knowledge, Indian cuisines are quite popular among many parts of the world. Moreover, It would give an opportunity to students from different cultural backgrounds to try authentic Indian food. I strongly believe that student will love it as it has a very mild spice level. I would be more than happy to discuss ingredient list and preparation steps with other students.
