Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

You have addressed all three bullet points: offering a dish, describing it, and explaining why it should be included. However, the development of these ideas is quite limited. The description of 'Locho' is brief and relies on a list of variations rather than a descriptive explanation of its taste or texture. Furthermore, the explanation for why it should be included is somewhat vague, stating only that it is 'healthy' and that people will 'enjoy different types of food.' To achieve a higher band, you should expand on your ideas with more detail and provide a clearer, more persuasive rationale for your choice.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The letter is logically organized into paragraphs, and you have used some basic cohesive devices like 'Firstly' and 'Secondly.' However, the flow between sentences is often mechanical and sometimes awkward, such as in the opening paragraph where you state, 'Upcoming paragraphs will illustrates the information.' Additionally, some sentences are fragmented, such as 'Which is made with Besan ata...' and 'Like, Garlic locho with cheese.' These fragments disrupt the flow of the text. Improving your use of linking words and ensuring that sentences are complete will help your ideas progress more smoothly.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it is quite repetitive and lacks precision. You rely on simple descriptors like 'famous' and 'popular' multiple times. There are also some errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'Besan ata' (which should be explained or translated) and 'It is depend on people.' While your meaning is generally clear, the range of vocabulary is limited, and you struggle to use more sophisticated or varied language to describe the food or your enthusiasm for the event.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

You use a mix of simple and some attempted complex structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('It is depend on people'), incorrect verb forms ('will illustrates'), and sentence fragments. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of full stops to separate phrases that should be part of a single sentence. While these errors do not completely prevent the reader from understanding your message, they occur frequently enough to impact the overall clarity and professionalism of your writing.
