You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

Dear Luis,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing to offer my suggestion for upcoming club event celebrating famous dishes around the world. I would be delighted to prepare a traditional dish from India called Aloo Paratha.

Aloo Paratha is a Indian flatbread stuffed with mashed potato and spices. It is very easy to make and require few ingredients. It is usually cooked on flat pan using a butter or oil and served with pickles, yogurt or a tea. Although this is quit simple, it is well known for its delicious flavour that is enjoyed by all ages in India.

I believe Aloo Paratha would be excellent addition to the event because it would give international students not only opportunity to experience Indian cuisine but also suitable for many attendees with different dietary preferences. Moreover, I would be happy to share some information about how it is prepared and cultural significance about this dish.

Please let me know if you would like me to prepare this dish for event and how many people are expected to attend so that I can make necessary arrangements.
