You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

Dera Luis, I hope you are doing well I am writing this letter to let you know about the dish that i going to make in the upcoming event.

I am from India and India is famous for its culture and food, at every corner we can see something new there. We can make the popular dish from South India, which is liked by many people all around the world.

The dish is dosa, I choose this dish because it's full of taste. This is also very healthy food, and easy to make even we can make it in front of the people. We just have to do preparation earlier as for this dish we have to make two or three types chutney (sauces)to enhance its taste and batter of dosa.

This dish will increase the excitement for the event as i also asked to many of my foreigner friend they wanted to taste this when i explain the recipe with them . I would appreciate if you accept my this idea and let me know as soon as possible so that i can start preparation.
