You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

Dear Luis,

Hopefully you are in good spirits and health! My name is Sarah Williams, I am a member of International Student's club. Last week you asked us to suggest a staple food item from our country, so that people can try new stuff.

Firstly, I would like to share with you that my roots are Italian and Indian, as my mom is Indian, and my dad is an Intalian. But I am really fond of Indian food. The most popular dish of Indian culture is butter chicken.

Apparently, this is a non-vegitarian dish, so the chicken is cooked with the authentic Indian spicies, and is served with bread called "Naan". If you have doubts for the spice level for this dish, you don't have to worry as this dish is usually cooked in butter and cream so this dish has more of a sweet palate.

Lastly, I would really appreciate if you would include this dish for your event, as I want people to know the actual taste off the dish, and at the same time I would like them to know more about my culture and heritage. As most off the people have a mith that Indian food is not about curry.
