You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

Dear Luis,

Thank you so much for taking the time and initiative in organising an event to celebrate popular cuisines from all around the world.

As you know I am from India, which is known for its diversity in spices. It has amazing flavourful and mouthwatering taste in our variety of food that we offer. The most popular dish that people eat in my country is butter chicken, and I would like to cook it and bring it to the event for all the club members.

The dish butter chicken is famous because of it's tendering taste and is usual served with naan. The combination of chicken, garlic, herbs and Indian spices makes this dish unique and different from other dishes.

I believe this dish should be included in our event. As I am the only person from India and I should bring this dish as it will help other members to taste the most popular dish that is served in India. And I am sure that everyone will love the dish and will ask me for the recipe.
