You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

Dear Luis,

I'm writing to recommend a popular dish from my country in the upcoming global food event.

I hope you're doing great. I'm delighted to know that our club is organising an event to celebrate popular food across the world. I'd like offer a dish from my country that is Dosa.

I'd like to give you a brief description about the dish. Dosa is typical a South Indian dish. It originated in the Southern part of India and it is popular among every Indian. Dosa is made with fermented rice, lentils and some spices. Moreover, along with the dosa some curry and chutnies are served to make it delicious and mouth-watering.

However, I believe this dish should be included in the event because India is known as rice bowl of the world, and this dish represents the diverse culture of India. Additionally, Dosa is light and easy to digest, so it will be prefered by everyone in the event. I hope you'll definitely include my recommended dish in the upcoming event.
