You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

Dear Luis,

Hope you are well. I am writing this letter to suggest an Indian, basically punjabi cuisine which is mostly popular in northern part of India and most of the Indians enjoy eating it. Being an Indian myself, I could tell how much Indians love this cuisine.

This dish is made with chickpeas (chanas) and bhatura which is Indian bread, served with onions and chilli's on side. Chickpeas are cooked with a mixture of onions and tomatoes with a bunch on spices. I am sure, whoever will eat it will surely love it.

In my perception, it should be included as we are organizing event in which popular food across the world should be included and the country India is known for it's spices. Mostly spices around the world are imported from India and this dish would be the best one to show how Indian spices are as all the flavours can be experienced after eating this dish.

So i would like you to consider this dish as a part of our event.
