You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Luis,

Dear Mr Jack ,

I am writting to request you to add a popular Pakistani dish called Biryani in the upcoming event to celebrate popular food across the world. I really wish to include biryani in it to represent the foods in Pakistan.

Biryani is a rice dish containing rice, meat, spices and some special ingredients that gives it a unique taste. I believe that the people in the event would love it. It seems so much tempting and it has its unique smell and taste that anyone could fall for it.

As we are arranging this event to promote the club and in order to raise some money for the charity. Therefore, by making such delicious and unique dishes, we can help more and more people in the form of donations. Moreover, I am pretty sure that it can beat any other dish in the event . Looking forward to your kind response.
