You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Luis,

I am writing to offer my help to upcoming international food event. I would be happy to prepare a famous Gujarati dish called dhokla.

Dhokla is traditional snack from Gujarat. It is basically yellow soft fluffy cake made from fermented gram flour and some Indian spices. It is often served with green coriander mint chutney and tamarind chutney along with fried chilies. It is not very spicy and little bit tangy flavor suitable for people who cannot handle spicy food.

I strongly believe that people will love this dish. I remember last year i served this dish in a event in my town and people really enjoyed its taste and texture . infect I sold-out all dhokla in just two hours.

I hope you will consider my request. I am very happy to serve this dish in this event to represent my culture and traditional food. I look forward to hear a positive answer from your side.
