You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

Dear Luis,

I am a member of an International Students' club. I would like to suggest a popular dish for your event to celebrate popular foods around the world.

There are so many popular dishes but one dish that people enjoy more in my country is Pav bhaji. It's very famous in India. Pav bhaji is made with butter and Indian spices. It is usually served with soft bread rolls, onions, lemon, and sometimes extra butter on top. It has a rich, spicy and delicious taste, so many people enjoy it.

I think this dish should be included in the event because it represents Indian food culture very well. It is colourful, tasty, and easy for people from different countries to try. Also, it is a vegetarian dish, so more students will be able to enjoy it,

I would be happy to help prepare and serve it at the event.
