You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

Dear Luis,

I hope you are fine ,i am also fine too. I am writing this letter to you that i am a member of an international Students club and i heard that the club is organizing an event to celebrate popular food from around the world. I wanted to to ask you if you could allow me to participate in the event, so that i will represent the best and famous food of my country.

The popular dish of my country is Biryani. Mostly people loves to eat biryani in my country, the recipe is made with rice, chicken and spices ; tarmarind, tomatoes, onions etc. At first we made chicken gravy and boiled the rice then we will mix them by making layers of gravy and rice one by one then we add some orange food colour on the top of rice layer.

It is a unique and desi dish and biryani is a national food of our country. It can be served with salad or yougurt raita. Kindly give me a chance to represent the best food of my country.
