You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

Dear Luis,

I am writing this letter to offer my participation in International Food Festival 2026. With the multicultural students at our university, it is vital to celebrate popular food from various countries. With that being said, I feel like I should participate in this festival to offer Indian dish to our students.

There are enumerate dishes that we can choose from but predominantly I would like to offer a dish named 'Pav-Bhaji' which is a Mumbai based popular food. It is made from variety of vegetables such as potatoes, carrot, peas, eggplant and tomatoes. All these vegetables are steam boiled and poured into a container and mashed along with different spices and butter to make it spicy, tangy and buttery. This is served with soft buns known as Pav along with onions on side.

This should be included in the event because of the exponential growth of Indian students at our campus in last two years. to infer, this will definitely bolster culturally.
