Dear Luis,

I have listened that the club is organising a food festival to showcase the popular food items from around the globe. And as a member of an international students' club, i am here to request you to also mention the favorite fast food of my own nation.

As i heard, the event is organizing for 5 days from 23rd August to 27th Aug in New York city. As an member of the club, I would also like to showcase my country's delicious snack, i.e. Momo at the event.

Momo is a favorite fast food item which is made of of Wheat flour and there is vegetables or crushed chicken meat and other types of ingredients inside it. It is mostly steam cooked which is healthy for the people. It is juicy and the flavor is so aromatic when tasted.

By seeing the popularity of it in Nepal, It is also been available to India and it is so demanding outside our country as well. The looks, its tastes and flavors make it popular among the people around the world.

Most importantly, The main purpose of the event is to celebrate the popular food around the globe. So with it , I would also like to make my nation's food item popular around the globe.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have addressed all three bullet points of the task: offering to make a dish, describing it, and explaining its inclusion. The tone is appropriate for a letter to an event organiser. However, the development of ideas is somewhat repetitive, particularly in the final paragraph, which restates the purpose of the event rather than providing a compelling reason for the dish's inclusion. To improve, ensure that your explanation of why the dish should be included focuses more on its cultural significance or its potential appeal to a diverse international audience, rather than simply repeating that the event is for popular food.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is logically organised into paragraphs, each serving a clear purpose. You use some cohesive devices, such as 'As an member of the club' and 'Most importantly', to link your ideas. However, the flow between sentences is occasionally mechanical, and some transitions feel slightly forced. The use of 'i.e.' is a bit informal for this context, and the referencing in the fourth paragraph ('It is also been available') is slightly unclear. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring smoother transitions between sentences would help elevate your score in this criterion.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary to convey your message, such as 'showcase', 'aromatic', and 'ingredients'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'I have listened that' (should be 'I have heard that') and 'demanding' (should be 'in demand'). Additionally, the repetition of 'popular' and 'around the globe' limits the sophistication of your writing. To reach a higher band, try to use more precise synonyms and ensure that your word choices are natural and contextually appropriate.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Examples include 'As i heard, the event is organizing' (should be 'is being organised'), 'As an member' (should be 'As a member'), and 'It is also been available' (should be 'It has also become available'). Furthermore, the misuse of capital letters (e.g., 'i' instead of 'I') and inconsistent punctuation are noticeable. While these errors do not prevent communication, they indicate a need for more careful proofreading and a better grasp of verb tenses and articles.
