You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

Dear Luis,

I am Dheeraj from India and being a member of an International Students club I am also interested in participating in an event celebrating popular food from around the world.

Basically, I belong to northern part of India where Poori Cholle is very famous food and people here just love it.

This dish is made particularly from a combination of vegetables gravy and by frying the floor chapatis in oil. The resulting item is poori and cholle which makes it a complete dish.

I think that this dish should also be included in the upcoming event where I and some other members from India will be joining me in demonstrating and bringing both name and taste of this dish at the global level because people from different countries will be attending this food event.

I hope you will also be convinced on including this dish to the event.
