You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

Dear Luis,

I am Dhvani Tailor, a member of International Students' club, writing to make a request to you about adding Indian food dish Biryani into the upcoming event.

To start with, as everyone know, India is a diverse country with its food and culture. To celebrate its customs and tradition, a famous food dish Biryani should be included in an event. To describe, it is a slow cooked dish prepared by putting the pot on Dum, in the pot bottom layer is been made with marinated chicken in Indian spices and layered with aromatic steamed rice on the top. It has indigenous flavors of traditional home grown spices which represent India very well.

For this reason, I would like you to include Biryani, which will showcases diversity of Indian culture. I would be grateful if you could make this possible for all Indian viewers. It will make them feel a sense of proud.
