You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

Dear Luis,

I would like to express my graditude for conducting the event to celebrate popular food from different part of the world.I am writing this to share my interest to introduce a popular dish from my country India to this event.

The name of the dish is Dosa, it is very popular in all regions of India. It is made up of rice and urid dal. Firstly, the rice, urid dal and fenugrek has to soak for 8 hours and then grind it into fine paste. Secondly, this grinded paste has to ferment overnight. Finaly, Dosa can be prepared.

This dish can be taken for breakfast or for dinner with any veg or non veg curries. Moreover, this dish is very good for gut health. In addition, this dish can be prepared in various ways with the same batter. The tastes will be very versatile. I believe this dish is the signature dish of India and everybody will love it.
