IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Hi,

I hope you are doing well. I would like to appreciate your effort to organize the food event. Could you please add Gulab Jamun during this event. It is one of the most popular sweet across Asia and I am sure people in our club will enjoy trying it. I have also seen many times in Indian restaurant that many natives have already started to liked it. Therefore, it is great options to add during the event.

Gulab Jamun made of flour which initially converted into balls and then we need to allow them to soak in sugary liquid which takes 30 to 60 mins to get prepare.

During the event, we have added several western food items such as pasta, pizza and burger although we did not add any sweet so from my perspective, it would be great choice to add Gulam Jamun.
