You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Luis,

Dear Mr. Luis,

I am writing this letter as I want to participate in your event to celebrate popular food items all over the world. I would like to prepare a popular dish to represent my country and spread its delicious flavour to every individual internationally. This is named as “Ghevar” as it made from melted butter known as “ghee” in its native language.

The rich flavour of ghevar is mainly due to the melted butter and a thin batter is made from the all purpose flour. It is then garnished with condensed milk, dry fruits and sometimes rose petals. This dessert comes from the state Rajasthan which is popular for its authentic taste and flavours. Therefore, I recommend to include this item in the upcoming event.
