You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Luis

How are you doing? I trust you are doing well. I am writing this to formally inform you that I would like to prepare a known dish from my place in this forth coming event in celebration of foods from around the world.

The dish that I choose to make is the popular African salad also called Abacha in my local dialect. This food is made from casava flakes garnished with proteins like stock and dried fish, garden eggs, and vegetable with a taste of fresh red palm oil.

This food and all ingredients used in its preparation are locally sourced. It is a healthy food containing all classes of food in its rightful proportion. With this food inclusive, you need not worry about its implications as all ingredients are freshly sourced with no additives.

I am looking forward to having a fun filled event even as I anticipate hearing from you.
