Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

You have addressed all three bullet points: offering to make a dish, describing it, and explaining its significance. However, the development of these ideas is quite limited. The description of the dish is repetitive and lacks clarity, and the explanation of why it should be included is somewhat superficial. To improve, you should aim to provide more detailed, coherent explanations rather than repeating the same points. The tone is also somewhat informal for a letter to an event organizer, which should ideally be more professional and structured.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The letter lacks a clear paragraph structure, which makes it difficult to follow. There is no clear introduction, body, or conclusion. Additionally, the use of cohesive devices is very limited; you rely heavily on simple conjunctions like 'and' or 'bcz' (because). There is a lack of logical progression between sentences, and the ideas feel somewhat disjointed. To improve, you should organize your letter into distinct paragraphs for each bullet point and use a wider variety of linking words such as 'furthermore', 'consequently', or 'in addition' to connect your ideas more effectively.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is quite basic and repetitive. You frequently use simple words like 'famous', 'good', and 'dish'. There are also issues with spelling and word choice, such as 'namken' (should be 'namkeen') and 'graam flour' (should be 'gram flour'). The phrasing is often unnatural, such as 'round round shape'. To reach a higher band, you need to expand your vocabulary to include more precise adjectives and nouns related to food and cultural events, and ensure you are using standard English spelling.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('This dish are famous', 'Most of people... eating'), missing articles, and incorrect sentence structure. The punctuation is also inconsistent, with many run-on sentences and a lack of proper capitalization. You rely almost exclusively on simple sentence structures. To improve, you should focus on mastering basic sentence construction, including correct verb tenses and subject-verb agreement, before attempting more complex structures.
