IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Luis,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing this letter to request you to add a famous Indian traditional dish in the event.

There will be a lot of individuals from every corner of the globe and this dish is very popular arround the world so everyone will love to taste this recipe.

This is an authentic dish from northern part of indian named as Butter Chicken. It is a combination of different spices cooked in Garlic and Onion paste in a lot of butter and by adding small pieces of Chicken.

I watched so many videos to decide which food will be best and i found out this one with 5 star rating from people arround Earth everybody will be eager to eat it. I will recommend that we should definitely include in the event.

I hope you will give a chance to this dish. I will be very thankful to you.
