IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Luis,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing this email to inform you about a popular dish of my country India which can be included in the festival. Let me explain more about that dish.

To begin with, the name of the dish is Chole Bhature which is widely famous in India. Basically, Chole's are a kind of vegetable made of beans and cury and Bhature is a bread cooked in the oil. I am sure that audience will enjoy the making and spice level of this dish will attract more students than anything else. Moroever, it can be ate as breakfast or lunch.

Furthermore, I believe that university have decent amount of indian students. To increase the participation and to attract this group, it will be great option. If you are align with me, I will start working on updating the event poster, menu and schedule.
