IELTS Writing Task 1 question
You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.
Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter
- offer to make a popular dish from your country
- describe what this dish is
- explain why it should be included in the event

Dear Luis,
Hope you are doing well. Our club is hosting a function featuring world-renowned cusine from across the globe. I am writing this letter to you about hosting an event where we can enjoy at our school.
Firstly, I would like to recommend Chicken Tandoori as a special dish. It is well known for its spicy flavour and rich texture. Also, people from our country enjoy this dish and eat with mouth open when they hear the smell of it.
Futhermore, Chicken Tandoori made with butter, chicken, spicy gravy and served with lots of green chutney. It has to be cooked on coal until it turns brown in color and chicken becoms soft enough to eat. In addition, it has to be served during the appetizer.
Moreover, the reason I mentioned this because it is well know dish and people enjoy very much.
