Dear Luis,
I am wirting to express my interest in making a local dish which is belong to my country in upcoming food event, which is organising by club.
Firstly, my country cusine is famous in whole world for its spicy taste. So, I am planning to make Biryani which is very unique and rich in taste, and it also my country national dish. Moreover, there are not many dishes containing rice and spicies as my traditional dish Biryani cover in it all. Furthermore, Biryani is a mixture of rice and chicken along with colors, therefor it will looks quite different and unique on table.
Anyhow, this food event is organising for international students so, there should has to been some asian food in the event. As there are number of students from asian side countries this dish will represent their presence also and they dont feel outsider in the event.
Thanks for time to consider my request. I am looking forward from you.
Yours sincerely,
raja

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response successfully covers all bullet points of the prompt. You have offered to make a popular dish from your country, described what it is, and explained why it should be included in the international food event. Your opening states your intention to make Biryani. You then describe it effectively as a national dish that is rich in taste, featuring rice, chicken, and colorful presentation. Furthermore, you explain its inclusion by noting that it represents Asian students and prevents them from feeling like outsiders. All parts of the task are adequately addressed with relevant ideas, aligning well with the Band 6 descriptor for Task Achievement.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The letter maintains a clear overall arrangement and follows an appropriate structure for a general correspondence, beginning with a proper salutation and ending with a sign-off. You make use of various cohesive devices to connect your ideas, such as 'Firstly', 'Moreover', 'Furthermore', and 'Anyhow'. However, some of these devices are used slightly mechanically or awkwardly, such as 'Anyhow' to transition into the final paragraph. Paragraphing is generally handled well to separate your main points, but referencing and referencing chains could be smoother to achieve a higher score.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task. You attempt to use less common items and topic-specific vocabulary such as 'cuisine', 'national dish', and 'presentation', which successfully communicates your message. However, there are noticeable word choice and collocation inaccuracies throughout the text, such as writing 'wirting' instead of writing, 'is belong' instead of belongs, and 'cusine' instead of cuisine. While these errors occur, the range is sufficient to make your meaning clear, fitting the Band 6 lexical resource descriptor.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence forms in your response, such as 'So, I am planning to make Biryani which is very unique and rich in taste...' However, there are frequent grammatical errors and awkward phrasing, including 'which is organising by club', 'spicies', 'therefor it will looks', and 'there should has to been some asian food'. Additionally, the sentence 'Thanks for time to consider my request' has a missing article and 'I am looking forward from you' contains an incorrect preposition. These errors occasionally disrupt the flow, but communication is not impeded.
