You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Luis,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing to let you know that i would be verry happy to contribute to the International Student's Club food event by preparing a popular dish from my country.

The dish I would like make is Biryani. It is a traditional rice dish made with Basmati Rice, marinated meat (usaually beef or mutton), and mix of spices such as cumin, cardamom, cinnamon, and saffron. The rice and meat are cooked together slowly, which gives it a rich flavour and a delicious aroma.

I believe biryani would be a great addition to the event for several reasons. First, it is one of the most well known and loved dishes from my country, and many people around the world enjoy it. Second, it represents our culture and hospitality. And I am sure other students will enjoy it.
