You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

Dear Luis,

I hope this letter finds you well.

I am writing in response for an event organizing by our club entitled "Popular food from around the world". As a member of an International Students' Club I would like to make a well-liked dish from my country. I want the participants to try the flavor of my country too.

The most famous dish of my country is "Biryani", in addition, it is suitable for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, as we can make it either way. It is a traditional dish of my country. We use rice, meat (beef, mutton or chicken), herbs, whole range of spices and potatoes. It is full of flavors and serve with a sauce made with yoghurt.

I believe there are number of students in our university who belong to South Asia and have biryani in their home country so it would be beneficial for the event if we include this dish. Moreover, it will attract other students also who love to eat spicy food. In this way, we are able to attract a number to attendee in our event. I am looking forward to hearing from you.
