You are a member of an International Students' club. The club is organising an event to celebrate popular food from around the world.

Write a letter to the event organiser, Luis. In your letter

• offer to make a popular dish from your country
• describe what this dish is
• explain why it should be included in the event

Dear Luis,

I am writing to get a formal approval of one of the famous food items which is mouth-tempting and will attract alot of visitors. Being an active member of your club, I would recommend you to add mamtu in the lastest exhibition which is going to be held on 13th September.

I would request you to include our traditional dish which is getting popular in almost all the major cities of Pakistan. Basically, it belongs to the northern areas as It was firstly prepared there. People named it differently as Mamtu and Momos according to region. It has emerged as new business prospect and individuals are taking culinary courses to learn the secret recipe of this dish. Recently, individuals particularly women are selling these to earn sustainable profits.

Mamtu are made with finely kneed dough which is then filled with chicken and vegen fillings and wrapped into a shape. It i then steamed in a multi-tier steamer which is specially designed for this purpose, then the hot momos are served with spicy and flavouful sauces which enhances its taste even more.

This dish is definately distint from all the ordinary fast food and other food items which will make it a show stopper, people will never resist after trying it for first time. I hope you will consider my idea
