Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three points: you offer to make khir, describe its ingredients, and explain its cultural importance. The details about rice, milk, sugar and dry fruits help the organiser understand the dish, while its association with festivals gives a reason to include it. However, the explanation that it brings “prosperity in family” and that “every person in the club will like it” is not fully developed; explain more clearly what makes it appealing to an international audience. The response also contains 138 words, so it is 12 words below the required minimum; the 14 words copied from the prompt are excluded from this count. Add a little more relevant detail, such as how it is served or why visitors might enjoy tasting it.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter follows a generally sensible order: you introduce your offer, describe the dessert, explain its cultural significance, and close with a request. Paragraph breaks help distinguish these points, and phrases such as “in my country” signal a shift to its cultural role. Some connections are less clear, however. The sentence beginning “this is nolt only its uniqueness” is difficult to follow, and “i am convincing you because” does not link the reason to your request naturally. Use clearer transitions and make each paragraph develop one point in a straightforward sequence. A more conventional closing request would also help the letter feel complete and cohesive.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “well-known sweet dish,” “dry fruits,” “basmati rice,” and “festivals,” so the reader can identify the food and its significance. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts of the message difficult to understand, such as “seciality,” “mreiver,” “nuitrative,” and “nolt.” Some expressions are also unnatural, including “offer you add india dessert” and “give some value tom opinion.” Choose accurate, natural phrases and check spelling carefully. More precise language for taste, preparation, and cultural tradition would make the description clearer and more persuasive.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more developed sentence forms, for example, “as it is prepared with dry fruits, basmati rce, milk and sugar.” The main message is usually understandable, but some grammatical errors affect clarity. In “I am writing this letter to offer you add india dessert,” the verb pattern after “offer” is incorrect; write “offer to make” or “offer you.” The sentence about the dish being “a symbol of good things are going happen” also has an unclear clause structure. Capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent, particularly at sentence beginnings and in the sign-off. Practise accurate verb patterns and build longer sentences from clearly connected clauses.
