Although,If you allow me the dish which, I wanted to show in the event is chicken biryani which is not just famous in india but also been cooked and eaten in different countries. It is made of rice and roasted chicken and different spices are added into it which makes that dish seperate from other dishes, that makes this dish a unique combinations of this ingredients.
The reason why I want to this dish to be included in the event is because as other club members are representing their own countries famous dishes for this event, so I also want to represent my country's famous dish which gives me a sense of pride while doing this.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address all three points: you offer to prepare chicken biryani, describe its rice, chicken and spices, and explain that representing your country would make you proud. The dish is clearly identified and the letter’s purpose is easy to understand. The explanation of why it belongs at the event is relevant, but it focuses mainly on your personal pride and repeats that other members will represent their countries; adding a reason that would interest the organiser, such as the dish’s popularity or distinctive flavour, would develop this point further. The description also gives basic ingredients but could explain how it is prepared or served. These details would make the response more fully developed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The letter has a recognisable structure, with an opening, a paragraph about the dish, a reason for including it, and a polite closing. This gives the reader an overall coherent route through your message. However, some links are awkward or mechanical: “Although” does not introduce a contrast, and “so” in the final reason creates a long, loosely connected sentence. The first two paragraphs also repeat that the dish is famous and popular without clearly advancing the explanation. Use clearer transitions such as “The dish I would like to prepare is…” and separate the event-related reason from your personal motivation. This would make the progression smoother and references easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough topic vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “chicken biryani,” “spices,” “unique,” and “sense of pride.” The reader can understand what you are offering and why it matters to you. However, the range is limited and several phrases are imprecise or unnatural, such as “famous dish from my country,” “roasted chicken,” and “unique combinations of this ingredients.” Repetition of “dish,” “famous,” and “event” also reduces flexibility. Aim for more precise food vocabulary and natural collocations, for example describing biryani as a spiced rice dish with chicken, and use alternatives such as “traditional speciality” or “distinctive flavour.” Check spelling, including “separate,” as well.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a relative clause in “which makes that dish…” and a reason clause beginning “because.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors sometimes make the message less smooth. Examples include “I am writing to formally to add,” “I … wants,” and “Although, If you allow me the dish which, I wanted to show.” There are also problems with articles, agreement and sentence boundaries, as in “a unique combinations” and the long final reason sentence. Practise forming direct, complete sentences and checking subject–verb agreement, articles and punctuation. For example: “I would like to prepare chicken biryani, a popular Indian rice dish made with chicken and spices.”
