Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address all three points: you offer to prepare Bannu beef pulao, describe it as rice cooked with beef and local spices, and explain that its distinctive taste could attract visitors. The dish is relevant to the international-food event, and the reason for including it is clear. However, the description and justification are brief, and the claim that people around the world love it is not supported with detail. The final point about sharing your country’s food with the rest of the world repeats the idea of its uniqueness rather than extending it. Develop these ideas with a little more specific information, such as how it is prepared or what makes it representative of your country.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The letter has a recognisable sequence: an offer, a description of the dish, reasons for including it, and a closing. Paragraph breaks help separate these functions. However, progression is weakened by repeated ideas about the dish’s uniqueness and popularity, and some links between sentences are unclear. For example, “As it’s our country local food” begins a further reason but largely repeats the previous paragraph. The opening also spends space on a general greeting and a lengthy statement of purpose before naming the dish. Organise the body into clearer stages and use references such as “This traditional dish” to connect ideas without repeating the same claim.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “popular food,” “local Masalas,” “unique taste,” and “attract more people,” so the main message is understandable. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, spelling, and collocation errors make the letter less natural: “Beaf Pulaw,” “wanna,” “deleious,” and “offer you to kindly add” are examples. The repeated use of “unique” and “taste” also limits variety. Choose accurate spellings and more natural expressions, such as “offer to prepare” and “distinctive flavour,” and use a few precise terms to explain the dish’s ingredients or cultural importance.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response includes simple sentences and some attempts to combine ideas, for example, “This Dish is made up of Rice cooked with Beaf and different local Masalas add more taste to it.” However, sentence structures are limited, and errors in sentence boundaries, agreement, articles, and possessives occur throughout. In “As its our country famous dish but people all around the world loves it,” the clause is not formed correctly, and the subject–verb agreement is inconsistent. “I wanted it to explore it” also has an unclear grammatical structure. Use complete sentences, check subject–verb agreement, and practise possessive forms such as “our country’s.” More accurate complex sentences would improve control.
