Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address all three points: you offer to bring Nihari, identify its main ingredients, and explain why it could suit the event. The dish is presented as a food from your country, and the comments about its taste and cultural connections are relevant. This meets the task well overall. However, the description is brief, and the claim that it is a “healthier item to consume during any injury” is not explained, so its relevance may be unclear to Luis. The reason that it should be included would be more convincing if you developed how its flavour, preparation, or cultural significance would interest visitors. The offer itself could also be made more direct and specific, such as confirming that you can prepare and bring it.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The letter follows a sensible overall order: you introduce your purpose, describe Nihari, give reasons for including it, and close politely. Linking expressions such as “Moreover” and “Furthermore” help show how your reasons connect, and the reader can follow the main message. To make the progression clearer, separate the dish description from the reasons for including it, and use a new paragraph for each main purpose. Some links feel mechanical, while “this” in “people from different cultures going to love this” does not identify the dish as clearly as it could. The closing lines are appropriate, but the request and final hope could be joined more smoothly to avoid a slightly abrupt ending.

Lexical Resource: Band 6.0

You use an adequate range for the topic, including “traditional,” “unique in ingredients,” and “different heritage,” and the reader can understand the main ideas. There are also attempts to use more specific food vocabulary, such as “Nihari,” “biryani,” and “karahi.” However, some word choices and combinations are inaccurate or unnatural: “rich in taste,” “effectiveness,” and “connect with people from different heritage” do not express your intended meaning precisely. Spelling errors such as “spcies” also reduce accuracy. Aim for natural collocations and precise descriptions of flavour and cultural value; this will make your vocabulary more flexible and convincing without changing the meaning of your ideas.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a reason clause with “as” and a sentence beginning “Moreover.” The message remains understandable, but some grammatical errors affect accuracy. For example, “the dish that i would like to bring at upcoming event” needs a capital “I,” an article, and a more suitable preposition; “people from different cultures going to love this” is missing the auxiliary “are”; and “it should be included … due to it's appearance” uses the wrong form of the possessive. There are also issues with articles and sentence punctuation. Check each sentence for a complete verb phrase, correct articles, and apostrophe use. More consistently accurate complex sentences would strengthen control.
