Student answer (Band 5.5)
With the passage of time a large number of development take place one of them is the discovery of driverless cars, buses and trucks its means that no driver will be needed for the vehicles and all those who are travelling will be passengers.
The advantages includes, all the cars buses and trucks will complete its works in its relivent time, it means pick and drop service, transfer of good from one place to another, no delay will take place because its all done by the automatic machinery, second thing is that it saves a time because of no delay so no wastage of time will take place, another one is that it will not depend on humans it will work on its specific roadmap.
The disadvantages includes one important factor is safety, if there is any falt in the car bus or other high vehicle then its difficult to control it so its will completely destory the vehicles in the result the passengers will harmed, second one includes that all driver will be jobless so unemployment ratio will be rises as well, the other one is that more technology and budget will be required to run these type of machinery and technology so it impact on economy of the state.
In my point of view it is concluded that most of the advantages overcome to the disadvantages of this discovery so in the future its will consider the good innovation because it save time, its independent on humans and it will be more fast service without any delay.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both sides of the question and give a clear overall view in the conclusion: you believe the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. Relevant points include faster, more reliable transport and reduced dependence on human drivers, balanced against safety risks, unemployment and costs. However, these ideas are mostly listed rather than explained or supported. For example, the claim that automated vehicles will avoid delays needs a reason or a concrete example, and the safety concern would be stronger if you explained how a technical failure could affect passengers. The discussion also treats the benefits as certain without considering conditions such as reliable technology. Develop fewer points with clearer explanations and examples, and maintain your position consistently through the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph of advantages, a paragraph of disadvantages and a concluding opinion. This helps the reader identify the main stages of your argument. However, progression within the paragraphs is limited because several points are joined into long, crowded sentences. The repeated sequence “second thing,” “another one” and “the other one” makes the organisation feel list-like, while links between claims and their explanations are not always clear. For instance, the point about saving time repeats the earlier claim about avoiding delays rather than extending it. Use clearer topic sentences, separate each main idea, and connect explanations to their supporting examples. More precise referencing would also help readers follow what “it” refers to.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “driverless,” “automatic machinery,” “unemployment” and “economy,” so the main ideas are generally understandable. However, the range is limited and some wording is inaccurate or unnatural, which can make the reader pause. Examples include “complete its works in its relivent time,” “transfer of good,” and “the advantages overcome to the disadvantages.” Repeated general words such as “thing,” “good” and “service” also reduce precision. Aim to use more specific transport and technology vocabulary, and learn common collocations as complete phrases. Checking spelling and word forms will improve clarity: for example, distinguish “goods” from “good” and use a natural phrase such as “outweigh the disadvantages” when stating your position.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt to express several connected ideas and use some longer sentence forms, but control is inconsistent. Frequent problems with agreement and verb forms appear in phrases such as “a large number of development take place,” “The advantages includes,” and “unemployment ratio will be rises.” Sentence boundaries and punctuation also need attention: the opening sentence joins several complete ideas without clear separation, and the advantages paragraph becomes a run-on list. These errors sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with controlled clauses using “because,” “if” and “which.” Check subject–verb agreement, singular and plural forms, and verb patterns before submitting.
