Student answer (Band 5.0)
In the future all cars, buses and truks will be driverless . There will be only passengers in the vehicles.
Currently Tesla USA based and BYD China based companies are manufacturing these types of cars. Governments have issued license to this technology despite of many reservations of different groups of society. Peple are buying these cars rapildy. Many sections of society are still opposing it .
Although these cars have many advantages like driverless cars when used by passengers as taxi cost less expensive. You have tto just book your car and take a ride . People can work easily in driverless cars.
On the other hand these cars have disadvantages too, like it will effect jobs of taxi drives . It has economic effects. Drivers will loose their jobs. Also there is a accidendal risk associated with these cars.
These cars mainly based on artificial technology if there will be some technical error generated in the system of these cars , there will be chances of accidents . We cant say artificial technology oughtweighs human intelligence . There is a risk of cyber attack . People can control your vehicle and cause accidents .
No doubt, in moderan era driverless cars are making lives easier but still its risky to take a ride of these cars. there was an accident last month

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You address the topic by presenting benefits and risks, including cheaper taxi journeys and the possibility of job losses, technical failures and cyberattacks. However, the response does not clearly answer the central question: the conclusion says driverless cars are risky, but does not explicitly state whether their advantages outweigh their disadvantages. Most points are listed rather than explained or supported; for example, the claim that passengers can work easily is not developed, and the reference to an accident “last month” gives no details or relevance. The response also falls short of the required 250 words. To strengthen the response, state your position clearly in the introduction and conclusion, then explain and support a smaller number of relevant points with specific examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a basic overall structure: it introduces the topic, presents advantages, contrasts them with disadvantages, and ends with a concluding comment. Linking phrases such as “Although,” “On the other hand,” and “No doubt” help signal these stages. However, progression within the paragraphs is limited, and several ideas are placed together without clear explanation of how they connect. For instance, the discussion moves from technical errors to human intelligence and then cyberattacks without developing a clear sequence. The final reference to an accident is also left unfinished. Use separate, focused paragraphs for each main argument and connect each claim to its explanation or example; this would make the line of reasoning easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “driverless,” “artificial technology,” “technical error,” “economic effects,” and “cyber attack,” so the reader can identify the main issues. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “cost less expensive,” “taxi drives,” and “accidental risk.” Spelling errors, including “truks,” “Peple,” and “rapildy,” also make the writing less clear and polished. Aim to use precise phrases for the ideas you discuss, and check spelling carefully. Learning topic-specific combinations such as “reduce operating costs” and “displace professional drivers” would help you express your points more naturally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple sentences and longer structures, including “Although these cars have many advantages…” and the conditional sentence beginning “if there will be some technical error.” However, the range is limited, and complex sentences are often not controlled accurately. Examples include “Governments have issued license,” “it will effect jobs,” and “there is a accidendal risk,” where agreement, verb form, or article use needs attention. Punctuation and sentence boundaries are also inconsistent, as in the run-on construction about technical errors and accidents. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly formed subordinate clause, and check articles, plurals, and verb forms before submitting.
