Student answer (Band 6.0)
Accordingly, it is generally seen that in the upcoming days, all the heavy vehicles will be running without drivers. Only the passengers are travelling inside these. I tend to mention some of the possible problems and suggest some considerable solutions.
In the first place, technology is increasing day by day therefore scientists are trying very hard to replace human jobs . To some extent, it is a good thing that humans don't need to work alot and drain their energies. In the era of driverless vehicles, people will reach to their destination timely without any danger of accidents, or like shortage of any fuel etc. Thus, it is pertinent to mention that human jobs are replaced by technology in the near future.
As for as driverless vehicles are concerned, it is really a fascinating advantage, like humans have not enough energy to drive long for like thousands kilometers . They get tired early and lot of time also waste during stay . For example, Some drivers went to sleep during driving so the chances of accidents also increases. Hence, there is no denying the fact that driverless vehicles are more safe to consider for travelling rather than human driving.
In a nutshell, after considering all the above mentioned arguments we can reach a logical conclusion that driverless vehicles have more benefits as compared to human drivin

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the advantages of driverless vehicles, but it fails to adequately address the disadvantages, which is a requirement of the task. The ideas are under-developed and the position is not fully supported. Furthermore, the essay is significantly under the 250-word minimum, which negatively impacts the development of the argument. To improve, you must ensure all parts of the prompt are covered and provide more detailed, extended explanations for your points.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. While some cohesive devices are used, such as 'In the first place' and 'In a nutshell', they are sometimes used mechanically or inappropriately. The transition between ideas is often abrupt, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, making the flow of the argument somewhat disjointed. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring each paragraph has a clear, singular focus would help improve the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There is some repetition of basic terms like 'driverless vehicles' and 'humans'. Some word choices are slightly unnatural, such as 'drain their energies' or 'shortage of any fuel'. To reach a higher band, you should aim to incorporate more sophisticated vocabulary and collocations related to technology and transportation, while ensuring they are used accurately in context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors. Examples include 'humans have not enough energy' (should be 'do not have enough energy'), 'lot of time also waste' (should be 'a lot of time is also wasted'), and 'more safe' (should be 'safer'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma placement. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they occur frequently enough to limit the score.
