Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the recent years the technology have been developed rapidly so most of the experts and i believe that driverless vehicle outweight the disadvantages but tf they are advantages therefore there are disadvantages too so according to me driverless car are more safer to travel because they have zero percent human error like lack of sleeping ,speed should be limited and less road accidents because people driving the car was advanced technology Another important example was more convenience because most of people can use their driving time into productive way like reading books articles and watcing news .Moreover peoples that are disable with legs ,eyes ,hand and that don,t know how to drive will get greater independence that they can travel without third person along with them .But when this technolgy will be introduced its has devastating effect on the world most of the people that are making money and run their family expences through driving they would become jobless so government should have to help those people and give some skills to do another work so that they can run their families but yeah if it come to technology it might have good effects

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both advantages and disadvantages, but it fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, reaching only 195 words. This significantly impacts the development of ideas, which remain superficial. While you clearly state your position that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, the arguments regarding safety and convenience are under-developed and lack specific, illustrative examples. The discussion on the negative impact on employment is also brief. To improve, you must expand your points with more detailed explanations and concrete examples to meet the length requirement and provide a more thorough analysis of the topic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay lacks clear paragraphing, which makes it difficult to follow the progression of ideas. The entire response is written as a single block of text. While there are some attempts at cohesive devices such as 'Another important example' and 'Moreover', these are often used incorrectly or in a way that does not effectively link sentences. The flow is frequently interrupted by run-on sentences and a lack of punctuation, which hinders the logical development of your argument. To improve, you should organize your essay into distinct paragraphs: an introduction, body paragraphs for advantages and disadvantages, and a conclusion.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is generally basic and repetitive. You rely on simple terms like 'good effects' and 'making money', which lack the precision required for an academic task. There are also several errors in word form and collocation, such as 'driverless vehicle outweight' (should be 'outweigh') and 'peoples that are disable' (should be 'people with disabilities'). While the meaning is generally clear, the range of vocabulary is limited, and there is little evidence of less common or idiomatic language. Expanding your vocabulary to include more academic and topic-specific terms would significantly improve your score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that affect readability. There are issues with subject-verb agreement ('technology have been developed'), article usage ('the technology'), and sentence structure. Many sentences are run-on, lacking necessary punctuation, which makes them difficult to parse. For example, '...lack of sleeping ,speed should be limited and less road accidents because people driving the car was advanced technology' is structurally incoherent. You rely almost exclusively on simple sentence structures and struggle with complex forms. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, punctuation, and subject-verb agreement before attempting more complex grammatical structures.
