Student answer (Band 5.5)

Now, the technology is more prefer because the our country scientists have made a driver less cars, buses, and other vehicles will be prepared and there are helpful for peoples because there are no driving and accident issues. The driver less cars is helpful for passengers and it play a good environment in our country so it is playful and helpful for ever all of this.

In my point of view the are many advantages of driver less vehicles however it be prefer to be like a country and will be easier then non driver less vehicles like a cars, buses and other vehicles either than is easier fir man and women. When the driver less vehicles used in our country and would be look pulchritude for all over in a world. But the disadvantages of driver less cars buses and other vehicles for a man and women the accident will be increase and the people, passengers unsafe in cars and buses.

In my whole life there are many examples but i explain that recently my nib-lings come in my home.I see it the play with toy car the car is driver less so i interest with play it. When I play with his toy small car when i was a driver this with buttons but the toy car is very small because I could not sit it hoe ever my nib-lings sit so in personal life experience it is unsafe for all of peoples. So first when the engineers made a driver less car he would be drive this and launch in a showrooms and it will be easy to drive this.

The driver less cars would be non safe for a peoples in my point of view.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by discussing the advantages and disadvantages of driverless vehicles. However, the development of ideas is limited and often unclear. The argument lacks logical depth, and the personal example regarding a toy car is not relevant to the complex issue of autonomous public transport. The position is somewhat contradictory, as the essay oscillates between seeing benefits and risks without a clear, sustained argument. To improve, you should focus on providing well-supported, relevant arguments for both sides and ensure your conclusion clearly reflects your stated position. The ideas are currently too superficial to meet the requirements for a higher band.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is divided into paragraphs, but the internal structure is weak. There is a lack of logical progression between sentences, making it difficult to follow the flow of your argument. Cohesive devices are either missing or used incorrectly, such as the repetitive use of 'and' and 'but' to connect ideas. Referencing is often unclear, particularly in the second and third paragraphs, where the connection between the topic and your personal experience is disjointed. To improve, focus on using transition signals like 'furthermore', 'consequently', or 'on the other hand' to link your ideas more effectively and ensure each paragraph has a clear, singular focus.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive, relying on basic words like 'helpful', 'good', and 'easy'. There are several instances of word-choice errors, such as using 'pulchritude' (which is archaic and contextually inappropriate) and 'nib-lings' (which is informal). The phrasing is often unnatural, which occasionally impedes the reader's understanding. To reach a higher band, you need to expand your range of vocabulary to include more precise, academic terms related to technology and transportation. Avoid using informal language and focus on learning collocations—words that naturally go together—rather than translating directly from your native language.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that often cause difficulty for the reader. There are significant issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'the driver less cars is helpful'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or run-on, and the punctuation is inconsistent, particularly with comma placement. The range of structures is very limited, consisting mostly of simple sentences with basic errors. To improve, you must focus on mastering basic sentence construction, including correct verb tenses and pluralization. Practice writing error-free simple sentences before attempting more complex structures, and pay close attention to the rules for articles and prepositions.
