Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response is significantly under the 250-word minimum requirement, which severely limits your ability to develop your ideas. While you attempt to address the prompt by mentioning both advantages and disadvantages, the ideas are underdeveloped and the essay is incomplete, ending abruptly mid-sentence. To improve, you must ensure you provide a full, balanced argument with sufficient supporting evidence and examples for each point. Because the response is only 135 words, it fails to meet the basic length requirement, which significantly impacts the overall score for Task Achievement.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay shows some attempt at logical organization through the use of introductory and transition phrases like 'Firstly' and 'On the other hand'. However, the paragraphing is inconsistent, and the abrupt ending prevents a clear conclusion. The flow of ideas is hindered by the lack of development and the incomplete nature of the text. To improve, focus on creating a clear structure with a distinct introduction, body paragraphs that fully explore each point, and a concluding summary. Ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence and supporting details.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is somewhat limited and repetitive. There are instances of awkward phrasing, such as 'take great place as digital system' and 'would have seem under-priviliged'. While you attempt to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'autonomous vehicles' and 'job displacement', the overall range is insufficient to express complex ideas fluently. To improve, try to incorporate a wider variety of academic collocations and synonyms to avoid repetition and enhance the precision of your writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including issues with verb tense ('are automated in the future'), word order ('without drive'), and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or lack necessary articles and prepositions. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors makes the text difficult to read at times. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of articles. Proofreading for simple errors before finishing your writing is essential.
