Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by discussing both advantages and disadvantages, maintaining a clear position that the disadvantages outweigh the benefits. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention technical failures and job losses, the arguments could be extended with more specific examples or deeper analysis. The conclusion is quite brief and does not fully synthesize the points made in the body paragraphs. To improve, ensure that each main point is supported by a clear explanation or a more detailed illustration to meet the requirements for a higher band score.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear central topic. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'Moreover', and 'Consequently' to link ideas. However, the flow between sentences is occasionally mechanical, and some transitions feel abrupt. The referencing is generally clear, but the overall progression of the argument could be smoother. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph transitions naturally into the next will help elevate your score in this criterion.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The range of vocabulary is adequate for the task, but it is somewhat repetitive and basic. There are several spelling errors, such as 'mordern', 'convinent', 'belive', 'benfits', 'vehicals', and 'invetion'. These errors are frequent enough to be noticeable. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use a wider range of vocabulary, including less common lexical items, and focus on accuracy in spelling and word formation. Using more precise terminology related to technology and economics would also strengthen your writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include 'new technologies increased well', 'the automatic vehical miss their control', and 'the high demands on self drive vehical can main cause of loss employment'. These errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement, articles, and word order, occasionally impede the flow of reading. While the meaning is generally clear, you need to focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy and expanding your control over more complex sentence forms.
