Student answer (Band 5.0)
In upcoming time the technology is much advance that the travelling vehicles must be driverless, the only human inside them is passengers. I personally don't like the idea , the reason must be the safety and the economy .
The travelling vehicles such as cars, buses and trucks are operated by a person so imagen if there is any machinery error so if the vehicle is driverless so it is not possible to control the situation in comparison to human intelligence because the machine is only working on the data that is feed it but human are not working on that . The other reason is the economy that the operators of these vehicle must lost there job's .
The advantage of driverless vehicle are less workforce is required and this will be a big advantage in upcoming years but it is also effect the economy.
The disadvantages are more then advantage so i prefer to say that the disadvantage outweigh the advantage

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, reaching only 163 words. This significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you state your position clearly, the arguments regarding safety and the economy are underdeveloped. You mention that driverless vehicles lack human intelligence but do not provide specific examples or logical extensions to support this claim. To improve, you must expand each body paragraph with detailed explanations, real-world examples, and a more thorough analysis of both the advantages and disadvantages to ensure a balanced and comprehensive discussion.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the progression of ideas is limited due to the brevity of the text. Cohesive devices are used in a very basic and repetitive manner, such as 'The other reason is' and 'The advantage of'. There is a lack of sophisticated linking words to connect ideas within and between sentences. To achieve a higher band, you should use a wider variety of cohesive devices (e.g., 'consequently', 'furthermore', 'in contrast') and ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that flows logically into the next.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, which restricts your ability to express complex ideas. Phrases like 'travelling vehicles' and 'big advantage' are simplistic. There are also errors in word choice and form, such as 'data that is feed it' (fed) and 'must lost there job's' (lose their jobs). To improve, you should focus on using more precise academic vocabulary and collocations. Avoid informal phrasing and ensure that you use the correct word forms to convey your meaning accurately.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Examples include 'In upcoming time' (In the near future), 'the technology is much advance' (is much more advanced), and 'more then advantage' (more than the advantages). The sentence structures are mostly simple or contain errors when attempting complexity. There are also consistent issues with punctuation and subject-verb agreement. You need to focus on mastering basic sentence construction, including correct verb tenses and pluralization, before attempting more complex structures.
