Student answer (Band 5.5)
There is concept of driverless cars is the future as scientists tells us that in the next coming time there will be driverless cars that will proceed driving through there own given intelligence. There are many pros ans cons of it that i will describe below that can occur in the vision of driving with out driving.
On the first hand, i will talk about of pros, driverless cars can give driver the options to take rest and still in working so a driver can reach at their destination without any drive and also can relax himself. Secondly, it will allow people to safe their time while also being in the progess. For instance, if a preson have thirty minutes of task to do with he his drive also is about of thirty minutes so if he have an option of driverless driving in his car so he can enable it and can do his task in thirty minutes ans still can reach at the office at the right time.
On the other hand, as we all know mechines can perform worst at sometimes because we cannot fully turst on mechines and if someone is in his car and car is driving by driverless mode and sudden car get any issue in his system and also car is in the speed then it will must lead to and extremely worst accident that can lead to even death of his passenger. So the main cons of it is mechine are not supposed to be fully trusted.
To sum up, it has very pros but also have very bad cons.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both advantages and disadvantages. However, the development of ideas is limited. The arguments regarding productivity and safety are relevant but remain superficial. For instance, the example provided about a thirty-minute task is repetitive and lacks depth. The position is clear, but the conclusion is underdeveloped, merely restating that there are pros and cons without summarizing the main argument effectively. To improve, you should expand on your points with more specific examples or logical reasoning to demonstrate a more thorough exploration of the topic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'On the first hand' (which should be 'On the one hand') and 'in the next coming time' indicate a struggle with natural linking. The progression of ideas is sometimes hindered by awkward phrasing, making the flow feel disjointed. While there is an attempt to use transition words, they are not always used correctly, which affects the overall coherence of the argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive. There are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'proceed driving through there own given intelligence' and 'mechine are not supposed to be fully trusted'. Spelling errors are also present, such as 'ans' instead of 'and', 'mechines' instead of 'machines', and 'turst' instead of 'trust'. These errors occasionally impede the reader's understanding. To reach a higher band, you need to expand your range of vocabulary and focus on using words in their correct context, while also ensuring accurate spelling.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures, and there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('scientists tells us'), incorrect preposition use, and awkward sentence construction ('if someone is in his car and car is driving by driverless mode'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with run-on sentences that lack proper clause separation. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents the use of a wider range of complex structures, which is necessary for higher band scores.
