Student answer (Band 5.0)
In today-s rapidly changing world many aspects of human life are evolving significantly.
In the coming era all cars, buses and trucks will be driverless. The only individuals travelling inside these vehicles will be passengers.
This essay will shed light on both the advantages and disadvantages of this development. Although it has several benefits but it also has certain drawbacks. However, I firmly believe that the advantages are more significant overall.
In the modern era all things become digital day by day. All the countries try their best to invent new technology. The robots and automatic cars also invented and many countries use this technology. The first advantage is that all the people have free transport because the buses are control by robots or special devices. Moreover the electric buses are now plays a vital role in the development. If everything become electric than now transportation fee is required. And another thing is that people saves their time from wasting. This helps the country to develop their economy more strong. Furthermore the individuals can enjoy free internet and charging faculities on the electric bus.
If it have significant benefit but it also carry disadvantages. For example the job of drivers vanished from city. They have just this job to earn income. It increases poverty in the society and the dearness also jump to high level which can effect the economy. Moreover the fuel companies also finished from country. Furthermore the fuel cars become so cheap that people give to others without money.
In conclusion, this development carries essential advantages but it also lead disadvantages which have a negative impact on a country.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The essay addresses the prompt by discussing both advantages and disadvantages of driverless vehicles. However, the development of ideas is limited and often lacks logical depth. For instance, the claim that transport will be 'free' because buses are controlled by robots is an unsubstantiated assertion that lacks a clear economic basis. Similarly, the argument regarding fuel companies disappearing is underdeveloped and confusing. While a position is stated, the supporting points are often repetitive or unclear, preventing a fully developed argument. To improve, you should focus on providing concrete, logical explanations for your claims rather than making broad, unsupported statements about future technology.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the progression of ideas is often disjointed. While some cohesive devices are used, such as 'Moreover' and 'Furthermore', they are sometimes used mechanically or inappropriately. For example, the transition between the benefits of internet access and the economic impact of driverless cars is abrupt. Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of the argument. The conclusion is very brief and does not effectively summarise the main points or reinforce the stated position, which limits the overall coherence of the response.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally basic and repetitive. There are several instances of inaccurate word choice, such as 'dearness also jump to high level' and 'fuel companies also finished from country', which hinder clarity. The range of vocabulary is limited, relying on simple descriptors rather than more precise academic terminology. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use more varied and sophisticated vocabulary, such as 'automation', 'unemployment', 'economic repercussions', or 'technological advancement', and ensure that words are used in their correct collocations to convey your meaning accurately.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'buses are control', 'electric buses are now plays', 'If it have significant benefit'), tense usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are simple, and attempts at complex structures often result in errors, such as 'If everything become electric than now transportation fee is required'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of hyphens instead of apostrophes. A greater focus on basic grammatical accuracy and sentence construction is necessary to improve your score.
