Student answer (Band 5.0)
in the future days, all vehicles like cars, buses and trucks will be driverless because people will not want this job with this issue only passengers will be travelling inside .i strongly believe that this statements have disadvantages outweigh advantages . the essay will examine the both viewpoints
on the one hand, the major concern without drivers is rackless driving which is drives by individuals because without driver people will starts buy their own vehicles which causes noise pollution and also creates massive and active roads for entire period ,during this environment will be in exacerbate conditions however, atmosphere, all biodiversity and humans will face challenges .for example -if drivers not apply for job ,companies will be go in loss because lorry and trucks are drove by drivers moreover, everything will have been stop
on the other hand, although without drivers have significant of drawbacks whereas,it has also minor advantages. firstly vehicles are less in use which is the benifit for atmosphere because without large proportion of trucks, cars and buses everyone safe from disease which is created by noise.for instance, if vehicles will not present people cannot be crazy for branded cars moreover, people will be healthy because they cover all routes on feet ,with this obesity also can be reduced and the pollution which is the main problem for atmosphere caused by gases and petroleum
after reducing vehicles it also will be decreased .
in conclusion, although without drivers it can be illustrates the negative impact bit it also have some minor positive impacts. decreased number of drivers can be created massive problems like rackless driving and increasing the proportion of personal vehicles

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the advantages and disadvantages of driverless vehicles. However, the development of ideas is inconsistent and often unclear. For instance, the argument regarding 'reckless driving' is confusingly linked to people buying their own vehicles, and the point about companies going into loss is not well-supported. The position is stated in the introduction, but the reasoning throughout the body paragraphs is frequently illogical or difficult to follow, which prevents the response from reaching a higher band. To improve, ensure that each main idea is clearly explained with logical steps and relevant, coherent examples rather than abstract or contradictory statements.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the progression of ideas is often disjointed. While some cohesive devices are used, such as 'on the one hand' and 'in conclusion', they are often used incorrectly or in a way that does not logically connect the sentences. For example, the transition 'although without drivers have significant of drawbacks whereas,it has also minor advantages' is grammatically and logically flawed. Referencing is also problematic, as it is often unclear what the pronouns refer to. The overall structure is present, but the internal flow of information is frequently interrupted by confusing phrasing and mechanical errors.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary range is limited and often inaccurate. There are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'rackless driving' (reckless), 'drives by individuals' (driven), and 'massive and active roads'. The student attempts to use more complex vocabulary, but these attempts often result in non-standard English that can impede the reader's understanding. Spelling errors are also frequent, such as 'benifit' and 'illustrates' used incorrectly. To improve, focus on learning the correct collocations for common topics and ensure that words are used in their appropriate grammatical form.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5
The response relies on a mix of simple and attempted complex sentences, but the accuracy is very low. There are persistent errors in subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'everything will have been stop'), verb tense usage (e.g., 'if drivers not apply'), and sentence structure. Punctuation is also frequently misused, with missing spaces after commas and incorrect capitalization. These errors occur throughout the text and often make the meaning difficult to discern. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence structures, ensuring subject-verb agreement, and practicing the correct use of conditional sentences.
